PROPERTY INSIDE - Indonesia is home to a growth-friendly economy, several property developers have expanded their businesses with projects not confined. Favorable economic conditions, which have led to the rising purchasing power of the middle class, have had a positive impact on the property sector and a number of developers on Jakarta and the island of Java are continuing to expand their businesses.

Such as Ciputra Group, one of Indonesia’s renowned property developers, through its subsidiary company, PT Ciputra Puri Trisula, present its latest mixed-use development project in Jakarta. The company is currently developing a new apartment block called Ciputra International in the Puri Indah area of West Jakarta, which spans 7.4 hectares is situated near the West Jakarta Outer Ring Road.

Associate Director Marketing & Sales Commercial Building, Helen Hamzah said that West Jakarta had good potential for property projects but was often overlooked by developers. “With the recent completion of of the second Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR W2), makes lands this project in a very strategic location. The location offers easy access to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, the Pondok Indah area and TB Simatupang,” she said.

The whole mixed-used development project will consist of 10 towers, with six office towers, three apartment towers and one five-star hotel with lifestyle center. The first phase of the project will start with three towers consisting of one apartment tower, dubbed “Amsterdam Tower” and two office tower, with a total investment equal to Rp 1.5 trillion.

Amsterdam Tower will only consist of 412 units, divided into three zones, which are Low Zone for 1 room studio type apartments, Mid Zone for 1 and 2 beed room apartments, as well as High Zone for 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. “With this zoning concept, the number of units for one floor is limited, ensuring comfort for all tenants and better security,” Helen explained.

The two office towers will have 12 and 19 floors, which will be sold per-level, with each floor area equal to 2000 square meters and be divided into 10 zones, with each zone having a minimum area of 100 square meters. Ciputra International is designed by AEDAS, a world class architect company, based in Singapore. The Ciputra International project can also be viewed as a solution from the renowned property group, to equal the high demands for office buildings and premium class housing in West Jakarta.
